I had a bad day yesterday. I’m sure you know what I mean.
One of those days where, when you get home you think “Damn, there’s still 5 hours left in this day.”
You wake up in the morning, thinking everything is going to be fine and it’s going to be just another day and all of a sudden. A traffic jam. And you think “well, that’s good”.
You get to work expecting everything to go smoothly in the office, but…. No.
You get a call every 5 minutes asking for something that is very urgent. Everything is urgent.
You come home from work thinking everything will be better but …. Oh, surprise… your kids are fighting, and when you walk in the door they climb all over you like they were a monkey climbing a tree.
It’s actually something you enjoy but that day you don’t feel like anything and just want to sit on the couch and watch some TV.
Finally you put the kids to bed, take a shower and when you go to dinner you see that there are some steamed vegetables with some fresh cheese, because the good weather is coming and we have to go on a diet. And that’s when you feel like crying.
Then you turn on the TV and in your only quiet moment of the day you think about watching a series on Netflix. Or HBO. I don’t know, I think some people collect subscriptions to these platforms like trading cards.
Well, at that moment, my recommendation to my students is to put that series in Spanish.
With subtitles or without subtitles, that’s not important.
But in Spanish.
Rubén I’m really tired ….. don’t fuck with me.
I know, but learning a language must be constant and remember that nothing is achieved without effort.
And soon it will be easier to understand that series in Spanish.
P.S. By the way…
grammatically what is the difference between MAL and MALO in spanish?
